Dr. Hiegel graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., with a B.S. in Economics in 1989. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1995. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Pulaski County Medical Society.

Dr. Hiegel has three daughters. His hobbies are fishing and water skiing. His family attends Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock.
