Dr. Moore attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1985. He is board certified as a diplomate in the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the Arkansas Medical Society and the Pulaski County Medical Society.

Dr. Moore is married and has two sons. They are members of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
